Map and catalog data can contain errors, stale names, duplicated routes, missing access restrictions, or incomplete geometry. Hike Forecast is not affiliated with OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, LongTrailsWiki, OpenLongTrails, OpenSkiMap, or any government agency.
How grades are calculated
We assign hikeability grades based on temperature, wind, gusts, precipitation and thunderstorm risk. These grades should not be treated as an endorsement, but in general we advise skipping any day with a C+ grade or lower, if your goal is to complete a normal summer hike.
